Sunday Worship Questions

What are your services like? Our Sunday worship typically includes reading from Scripture, times for prayer, a message from our pastor, a time to give back to God through an offering, and hymns and special music.  On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate the Lord's Supper (Communion).  Some might describe our worship as “liturgical” and others as “traditional”, but we prefer to call it classic worship.

What do you mean by “classic worship”? We like to call what we do "Classic" because it draws on the timeless resources of our Protestant and Reformed heritage while being accessible for people today.  While our setting is more traditional in style, we incorporate contemporary hymns and musical selections into our worship. Our Music Director brings years of professional experience and provides for quality instrumental accompaniment.

What should I wear to Sunday services? Dress comfortably and come as you are! While some may be in coat-and-tie or dresses, others will be dressed more causally.

Where do I go with my kids? Kids of all ages are welcome in worship at Hebron! We feel having kids present helps them to learn about worship through participation.  At the same time, we stream our service into the fellowship hall (Holman Hall) for children and families who need more space to move around.
