Location: Manakin-Sabot, Goochland County, Virginia
Job Type: Part-Time (approx. 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM). On-site work only; no remote work.

About Hebron Day School
Hebron Day School is a small, Christian preschool serving the Goochland area. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving, Christ-centered environment that shares the Word of God, serves families, and nurtures each child’s spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth through faith-based play.
Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, and dependable Director to lead our preschool program. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children, values strong relationships with families and staff, and feels called to Christian education.
The Director will oversee the daily operations of the preschool while fostering a warm, structured, and Christ-centered environment for children, families, and teachers. Due to the nature of the job, all work is on-site; no remote working.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily preschool operations and supervise staff
- Supervise health and safety
- Communicate with parents and build strong relationships with families
- Plan the school calendar, learning units, and special events
- Manage enrollment, class rosters, and student records
- Coordinate tours and assist with student recruitment
- Publish monthly newsletters
- Order and manage classroom and school supplies
- Maintain staff records, payroll information, and tuition tracking
- Ensure compliance with licensing and required documentation
Qualifications
- Background in early childhood education (degree or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with young children
- Leadership or staff management experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to Christian values and faith-based education
- English language fluency required
- Conversational Spanish speaking ability is a preference
